New Delhi,India: Air India has entered a new interline partnership with Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, in a move that significantly strengthens connectivity between India and major destinations across Asia and Australasia. The agreement enables Air India passengers to access more than sixty additional cities that were previously outside the airline’s direct network.

Under the arrangement, travelers can book a single itinerary that combines Air India and Scoot flights, ensuring simplified ticketing, coordinated transfers, and through-checked baggage. This eliminates the need for separate bookings and rechecking of luggage during layovers, providing a smoother and more efficient travel experience.

For Air India, the partnership aligns with its broader strategy to expand its regional footprint and cater to increasing outbound demand from India to Southeast Asia and the Pacific. As tourism rebounds and Indian travelers seek more affordable, multi-city travel options, the collaboration positions Air India to better serve these markets.

Scoot also gains improved access to India, one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets. By linking with Air India’s extensive domestic and international network, Scoot stands to attract greater passenger volumes from major Indian cities seeking cost-effective travel to popular Asian destinations.

The partnership further supports the Singapore Airlines Group’s long-term plan to strengthen connectivity across the Asia-Pacific region. Industry observers expect the agreement to contribute to rising traffic flows, particularly toward tourism-driven hubs in Southeast Asia and Australasia.

With this interline deal, Air India and Scoot have opened the way for more seamless, flexible, and accessible travel options, setting the stage for deeper cooperation as global travel continues to recover.
