The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has announced the designation of new paragliding zones at Manedanda in Ramechhap, Rapti in Dang, Chitlang in Makwanpur, and Andihola in Syangja. Commercial flights have commenced in some of these locations, with Chandragiri in Chitlang being a recent addition to the paragliding map.
Strictly regulated by the authority, adventure enthusiasts can only engage in paragliding activities in authorized areas. Originating in Pokhara, this exhilarating adventure sport is rapidly expanding across the country, offering enthusiasts more diverse locations to experience the thrill.
