The first international commercial ship landed at Pokhara International Airport today. The narrowbody A319 of Sichuan Airlines from Chhendu, China landed at Pokhara International Airport at 9:06 am.
This ship has come with passengers including athletes who will participate in the Nepal China Dragon Boat Race Festival to be held on June 8 and 9 at Phewatal in Pokhara. On this ship there is also a Nepali delegation, including the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, who has returned from a visit to China.
This ship will stay at Pokhara airport for about two hours and return to China via Kathmandu at 11 am.
An international flight has landed at Pokhara Airport, which has been operating since 1 January 2023, for the first time. On the opening day of the airport, Himalayan Airlines conducted a test flight.
